Drew English is an award-winning cinematographer. Most recently, he shot the hugely successful first season of Netflix’s Heartbreak High (season 1 & 2), which was nominated for five AACTAs including Best Drama Series, Drew also shot Mother & Son (ABC) and anthology Erotic Stories (SBS), ABC’s The PM’s Daughter, nominated for two AACTAs and most recently PLUM for the ABC based on Brendan Cowell’s book staring Brendan Cowell.

Drew’s skill has been regularly recognised by The Australian Cinematographers Society (ACS). Since 2017, the Society has awarded him two Gold Tripod Awards, as well as six Gold ACS Awards. Further, he was awarded the prestigious Drew Llewelyn ACS Camerimage Scholarship in 2016 which saw him travel to Poland to attend Camerimage Film Festival, an event dedicated to the celebration and recognition of cinematographers.
